Symbolism:
"In
'er Light" originated
in “Dive Deep, Fly High”, a design intended for use on fabric,
and for buckle closures.
To me, “Dive Deep, Fly High” symbolizes the infinite and universal woman embracing the full extents of the feminine flow. Ever graceful, she becomes both angel and mermaid to experience and embody our full potential. Notice that her fin mirrors the form of a leaf and intimates that she flows in harmony with all elements of mother earth.
This original design evolved to In'erLight as I began to envision how the Divine Feminine (our highest self) inspires and harmonizes with the Divine Male and all living beings on the planet. The ankh form immediately came to mind. It is an ancient, non-denominational symbol that traditionally stands for two things:
- The Life Force, or Divine, in all things
- The specific partnership of the male and female essence (oval being female or ISIS; cross being male or Osiris)
In’erLight symbolizes this sensual flowing femininity in its balanced relationship with the other elements of the planet AND in its highest partnership with the masculine aspect of the divine.
It
should be noted that the evolved design, the joining of these beings,
embodies far more radiance and strength as a result of the union. The
harmonious flow and innate radiance of the piece tends to augment the
harmonious experience of the wearer.
At the recent New Life Expo in NYC, a number of psychics gave interesting, unsolicited, feedback about this piece.
Each of them stated that the piece naturally attracts what is welcome and positive for my life while it also tends to repel that which is not. This was rather surprising to me, but they all assumed I had designed it with that intent.

“Family of Light”
Inspired by our deep, light-filled experiences at the recent
Parliament of World Religions
Over the past few months, many of us have continued to express how we, who attended the Parliament of World Religions (July 2004 in Barcelona ), were blessed to share in such a wondrous, deep, convergence of hearts. And we’ve continued to reflect on those daily miracles of Light-filled connections of souls coming together to foster peace, love, and sincere acceptance/understanding of all paths.
How easily we saw and felt that any previously-perceived illusion of conflict drops away as we rejoice, respectfully listen, and grow together in service to All… since indeed, we are that All, that Oneness of Light and Compassion.
During the closing days of the Parliament I heard many remark, “Now I have hope, I see clearly now that we are really one family working toward the same goals”.
Within 48 hours of my return from Barcelona this image “came through” as a symbol of our Shared Light and of the strength we have as One Family of the Light.
Although the Sikh symbol is not depicted in the image, 5% of profits from the distribution of the piece will be given to the Sikh community to again set up a Gurdwara at future Parliament events. They truly embodied sincere joy of service and respect for all as they nurtured us daily and provided us with a warm environment of community sharing. It’s impossible to envision a gathering of this kind without their valued presence.
